Manheim Township wraps the north side of Lancaster city, from the older Neffsville and Dillerville neighborhoods to newer development along Oregon Pike and Fruitville Pike. We’re about fifteen minutes south, so same-day delivery is normal when you call in the morning.
The township is unusual for actually publishing a rule on temporary containers in the street — most towns in the county don’t. If your job is on your own property, none of that applies and we can usually get you a container the same day.
On your own driveway or lot, no permit needed. Manheim Township is one of the few in the county with a published rule for containers in the street: a permit from the Township Police Department, good for up to 30 days, kept at least 15 feet from fire hydrants and clear of sight lines at intersections and driveways, with reflective markings required. Tell us when you book if it has to sit on the street and we’ll confirm current fees with the township before delivery.
